PLAYING FOR A LIVING
Almost every winning poker player ,at some point, starts thinking something like, “Gee, wouldn’t it be neat to just chuck my job and do this for a living.”
It seems like a glamorous, easy life.
Play when you want, sleep all day, make a living by your wits, and you are able to go anywhere you want and find a game.
Well, maybe the life of a poker pro is for a few people, but not very many.
For most poker pros it’s just another form of the daily grind. You don’t play when you want to.
You play poker every day because you need the money.
You play all night, and your personal relationships suffer because you’re not on the same schedule as the rest of the world.
You walk around with thousands of dollars in your pocket, but you can’t spend it because you need that money to play with.
For most, it’s just not that glamorous.
Maybe you want to do it anyway. What do you need to do for preparation?
