INTRODUCTORY HOLDEM BOOKS

The last twenty years have seen a lot of poker beoks on the market, and many of them have been on Holdem.

Some are pretty good books,and some are not so good, but I think even the bad books have something to offer.

Holdem is a complex game, and every author had added a little bit of unique insight into its various aspects.

In most cases each book looks at the game from a slightly different perspective.

This book is no exception. Although I’ve tried to look at the game a variety of perspectives, most of this book at the game from a variety of perspectives, most of this book has focused on an odds perspective.

I believe this is a neglected perspective among the Holdem books.

To get a broader view of some of the perspectives I haven’t covered quite as fully, there are a number of other books on the market. You should plan on reading them all eventually.

In this chapter I give a short summary of the perspectives taken by the major books on Holdem.
